General The Lorient LVH-C series (Ceiling Mounted) intumescent fire dampers allow for air transfer penetrations in fire rated Plasterboard ceilings. Special systems can be provided for integrity, insulation and incipient fire ratings. Their slimline design and absence of moving parts allow major space savings when compared to conventional ‘rat trap’ type mechanical ceiling fire dampers. Lorient LVH-C series intumescent fire dampers have been fire tested to AS1530.4 and comply with the Building Code of Australia, specification C3.15 and with the requirements of AS/NZS1668.1. This system is ideal for retrofit applications during fire safety upgrades.
